Who We Are

We leverage technology to solve social issues and provide services to eradicate special fraud (phone scams/wire transfer fraud) , phishing scams, and gray zone crimes (activities that exploit legal loopholes or are ethically questionable despite not being explicitly prohibited by law) .
Our “Fraud and Spam Prevention Service” collects and investigates information related to fraudulent calls and SMS messages to build a database that automatically filters such threats. It is deployed on mobile devices, landline phones, and business phones, and is used by approximately 15 million people each month.

Modern society, while benefiting from technological innovation, also faces new threats. The evolution of generative AI raises concerns about its misuse along with expectations for its promise. The development of online communication has created new forms of fraud and crime, causing serious damage not only to the elderly but to society as a whole.

It is Tobila Systems’ mission to solve these social challenges by leveraging technology to realize a better world. We believe that creating socially useful products and enhancing our business value will contribute not only to our own growth but also to economic development and the realization of a society where people can live with peace of mind.

Our business began with the desire to help my grandfather, who was troubled by bank transfer scams. In 2010, we started developing “TobilaPhone,” a product to filter fraudulent phone calls, and have since been at the forefront of special fraud countermeasures.

Our strength lies in our high-quality database of fraudulent phone calls, which has been accumulated over many years. In collaboration with public institutions such as the police, we continuously update and improve the accuracy of our data daily through feedback from approximately 15 million users and independent research. Based on this database, we automatically detect fraudulent phone calls using our unique algorithms that apply statistics and machine learning, providing a safe and secure communication environment for our customers.

We strive to create a society where everyone can live with peace of mind and enjoy a convenient and efficient life. By opening the “door,” or “Tobila” in Japanese, we pave the way to a better digital world where safe communication is ensured.

Service Overview

Security Business
−Provides services to counter special fraud (phone scams/wire transfer fraud) and phishing scams for mobile devices, landline phones, and financial institutions.

·Filtering service for mobile phones
Provides the database to each telecommunications carrier and offers services to counter fraudulent phone calls and SMS messages, included in the option packages from the carrier.
End users can easily access the services through the carrier’s app.
Also provides the advertisement blocking app “280blocker,” which blocks  fraudulent phone calls, SMS messages, and advertisements.

·Filtering service for landline phones
Offers services in various forms, such as external units, built-in units, and integration into a carrier’s network infrastructure, and blocks nuisance sales calls and fraudulent calls to create a comfortable communication environment.

Solutions Business
−Provides two products for corporations.

·TobilaPhone Biz: A service that enables the use of convenient functions required for office phones by simply adding it to existing phone environments.
